I provide Supportive Telehealth Services for individuals, couples and families. I have provided social services for 30 years. In that time, I’ve met individuals and families during some of the most challenging times in their lives; the goal of our efforts always being to support them while they reached their level of stability and beyond.
We all need help and support through life. There have been many societal changes in the last 10-20 years. Issues like social media, isolation, depression and cut-off relationships may have become the norm – but YOUR life can be so much more fulfilling!
Sometimes, we suddenly find, as we work so hard to care for the others in our life – that we have lost ourselves in the process and may feel invisible to those in our lives, overwhelmed or maybe unable to carry the load before us. Something needs to change – right? What should you do? What can you do?
These are the types of solutions I can help you find and create for yourself and your life. And I will do so in an authentic, honest, trustworthy way. I will sit with you in the hard places while you work yourself towards your solutions and will affirm for you – your visibility and ability to be in charge of yourself in your life.

"Ant Connie"
Administrative Coordinator

So, I told my granddaughter that I needed to write a bio and that I didn’t know what to say. She said “grandma that’s stuff about you right? Just say your name, how old you are, about me, you like to cook and that you love to drink coffee 24 hours a day”.
So here it is: My given name is Constance, but I normally go by Connie or “Ant Connie”, yes I know that’s the wrong aunt and there’s a story behind that that only a few know of. I was born and raised right here in Manhattan, KS…I call it home! I have been blessed with 3 grandchildren ages 11, 12, and 13 years old, and yes, they are more that a handful. For 20 years I worked as a preschool teacher which I loved. It’s amazing to see some of the parents or children all grown up and they still remember me. At a certain point I realized it was time to retire from the classroom because I had issues getting up from sitting on the floor. So, I then moved to the administrative side of working at a childcare center. Over the years I wore many hats: office assistant, assistant director, director, sub, kitchen aide and janitor. I believed that no matter what your position is there is a time when you sometimes have to pitch in and do what needs to be done. Now at the ripe “young” age of 61 I’m learning some new things here at 365. It’s true that you can teach an old dog new tricks. My stress reliever is sometimes doing nothing and just watching TV or taking a nap (so if you call me and I don’t answer I just might be sleep because when I’m out…I’m out). I’ve also been known to make some fried rice and egg rolls or any number of things I may have a taste for. Usually, I do the baking for holiday meals and then there’s the Christmas cookies. For years I have been trying to share this recipe, but I’m told they don’t taste the same, and it’s true they don’t. I also sew, crochet, make different crafts and love house plants which I can grow and kill at the same time. Oh, and while I do drink coffee every day it’s usually 2 to 3 cups and not 24 hours a day.

A graduate of Washburn University where I attained a Bachelor’s and clinical Master’s degree in Social Work. I am a Veteran, having served in the Military for 10 years, 8 of which my passion was to counsel and assist in the development for the personal and professional growth and wellbeing of Soldiers. Since discharging, I have focused on individuals and groups in a community crisis residence as well as Veterans experiencing behavioral health concerns.
I believe that we as people can overcome challenges and achieve in life the goals that we have, had have, and will have. The barriers that we are faced with, when perceived as challenges to overcome can be overcome through our journey of understanding and development in ourselves. I have 3 years experience working with individuals and groups in crisis
and acute psychological settings in order to establish and maintain stabilization for social, familial, and psychological needs.
Working together, we can collaborate by processing your concerns and to overcome challenges for you to work towards your therapeutic goals. It is with positive supports that the hardships in life are challenged and overcome. Your perspective, insight, and understanding of your life, culture and situations are paramount in the clinical relationship needed to achieve your goals. These factors will be the foundation within the therapeutic relationship and be our focus for the treatment approach that will guide our work together to meet your individual needs.
The specific experience I have working with behavioral health includes:
Acute Depression
Acute Anxiety
Suicide assessment and intervention
SPMI (Severe Persistant Mental Illness)
Bipolar
Medical Issues and Illness
Multicultural Issues
Psychotic Disorders
Career and Educational Stress
Coping Skills
Military lifestyle, Personal and Professional concerns
The human potential is great. What we can achieve as individuals is immense. What we can achieve together is immeasurable.
